IMGBurn is a compact, yet powerful burning application that gives you the ability to burn CDs, DVDs, HD DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. The software operates in five main modes– Read (reads a disc to an image file), Build (creates image files from a collection of files on your computer/network), Write (writes image files to disk), Verify (confirms that the disk is 100% readable and lets you compare discs against specified image files to ensure that the data is accurate), and Discovery (helps you analyze the quality of the burned discs that your computer is producing).
IMGBurn is compatible with a wide variety of image file formats, including but not limited to DVD, ISO, CDI, CUE, CCD, GI, IMG, MDS, and PDI. It is also capable of burning audio CDs using a plethora of formats, including AAC, M4A, MP4, MP3, OGG, and WMA. You can even build comprehensive DVD video discs complete with menus, using pre-organized Video_TS folders as input paths. In addition, by providing support for Unicode folder/file names the software operates smoothly even for users that are utilizing an international character set.
This software also supports the majority of the latest disk drives, so there’s no need to perform updates to ensure compatibility. Users will enjoy an array of advanced features that are not found in any other disc burning applications, including image queuing and automatic write speed (lets you store burn speed settings for each disk drive). IMGBurn can also integrate seamlessly with DVDInfoPro by allowing you to analyze/display data captured during the burning process (i.e. – buffer levels and write speed).
