WinToFlash

WinToFlash is a unique and useful application that lets you transfer the install disc of a Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 operating system to a bootable USB drive. It does this by preparing your USB drive to act as a bootable replacement for the default optical drive.

With WinToFlash you can quickly extract and transfer the contents of the install disk for any of the aforementioned Windows operating systems, and then place this data onto a USB disk that will act as a bootable drive. This software is incredibly helpful for individuals who need to install an operating system on their computer without a CD/DVD or optical drive.

Users can also quickly erase all data on the USB disk, reformat it, and create a USB drive that contains an emergency boot loader for Windows 2000, XP, or 2003. Likewise, the software lets you place a Windows XP/2003 recovery console on a USB drive.

By giving users advanced control over the partition table, WinToFlash makes it easy to adjust every aspect of partitioning an operating system. You can also fine-tune the Windows Setup Transfer process and create transfer profiles that let you store and load your saved preferences.

Using WinToFlash you can even transfer MS-DOS to a USB disk, and fix common Windows setup problems (i.e. – the 0x6B BSOD error), and check the file system on the USB drive for errors after you’ve completed the Windows setup transfer.

This compact utility takes up very little space on a USB drive and can be loaded onto almost any computer that utilizes a recent version of Windows.
